version of DomainMasters Domain System Manager software, DSM
version 5.0. This new version will include four new products
and numerous feature enhancements, and this will be the most
significant upgrade of 2004. There will be further
information sent in the next few weeks that will include

CartXpress, powered by osCommerce
- New

- Using the
industry standard ELF2 log format, provides advanced shopping

DBXpress
- Available
in CP for creation and population of pre-designed database

Mail

- Now, a
Suspended Domain cannot access the Control Panel. In DSM v5.0,
the user can log into the CP, but is shown an error message: “
Your domain status prohibits access to any tools. Please contact
customer support for information.”
Enhancements
- Allows
duplication of an existing package when creating a new package.
You will no longer have to create a brand new package, just make
modifications to the duplicate package. **This applies to
Dedicated Server owners. This also applies Resellers that have
the RSM (Reseller System Manager) installed.
- In the
Domain Management tool, added ability to enable/disable the
domain transfer feature
- Includes
new API to enable communication with DSM processes through XML
- DSM
Change Log will include a history of Change Log notes for
previous DSM Releases
- “Frees
Up” the DSM Notes field, so clients may use it again for their
own purposes
- Added a
Wizard for Powerscriptz Poll Manager, designed to walk users
through the process of creating polls
- Expanded
the Billing History page’s Notes field to allow more characters
to be entered at one time, so that you will not have to create a
separate entry
